Benefits
Sportscoach Finder is a recruitment, management and deployment service that coordinates casual coaching employment. 

Members receive:

Eligibility and Recruitment
To be eligible to apply you must be over 18 years old, have a valid national governing body qualification for your chosen sport(s) and preferably have some coaching experience. We are looking for coaches with Level 2 qualifications upwards, however, we will recruit Level 1 Assistant coaches with an aim to increasing your qualifications, skills and experience.
 
Sportscoach Finder interviews all coaches and we will require evidence of your identification, qualifications and two written references at the interview. All coaches will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure CRB check and this will have to be regularly updated as instructed by Sportscoach Finder and dependent on which local authority areas you coach in. If you are appointed you will receive a short induction covering Sportscoach Finder’s policies and regulations, particularly ensuring the health and safety of you and your participants. You will also be given a Sportscoach Finder Induction Pack containing:
  • An official offer of employment letter
  • Employment contract
  • A monthly time sheet
  • A staff payment detail sheet
  • Coaches Code of Conduct handbook
  • Coaching form templates e.g. risk assessment and post-session evaluation.

Job Descriptions
Head Coach        (minimum of a Level 2 National Governing Body qualification)
Assistant Coach  (Level 1 National Governing Body qualification)

 
Salaries
Head Coach: starts at £9.60 per hour, dependent on qualification level and experience.
Assistant Coach: £6-7 per hour.
Travel expenses are negotiated on an individual job basis.
Salaries are paid on a monthly basis following the submission of a monthly timesheet.
 
Terms & Agreements
Before becoming a member of the Sportscoach Finder coaching staff you will be required to complete a successful interview and sign a casual coach employment contract with Sport Structures Ltd (Sportscoach Finder is a product and service operated by Sport Structures Ltd). You will also be required to present all of your original qualifications certificates and two original forms of identification from:

Passport
Bank statement (less than 3 months old)
Birth Certificate
P45 or P60
Driving Licence (both parts)
 

If you do not hold a current CRB enhanced disclosure check an application will be completed in your induction and you will be asked to bring specific forms of identification in advance by a member of the Sportscoach Finder team. Please note if you hold a recent CRB enhanced disclosure check, you may still be asked to complete a new one dependent on the amount of time elapsed and local authority policies for the geographical areas you will be working in.
 
For your information below is a summary of guidelines that every coach agrees to by signing a Sportscoach Finder contract and the Coaches Code of Conduct handbook declaration. You will be required to sing both these documents before you can commence employment with Sportscoach Finder.
 
  • Produce evidence for all qualifications achieved.
  • Complete a CRB enhanced disclosure check and apply for regular updates.
  • Agree to abide by all Sport Structures Ltd regulations as stated in the Code of Conduct for Coaches handbook. A coach may be liable to a disciplinary procedure if sufficient evidence is produced that indicates they have violated the Code of Conduct for Coaches.
  • Agree to Sport Structures Ltd holding their personnel details on file but only for use by Sport Structures Ltd. Some information will need to be passed to ordering customers to enable the successful operation of Sportscoach Finder. Details of the information that will be used can be found in our Privacy section. No additional information will be passed to third parties without your prior consent.
  • Agree to provide a quality service to all customers on behalf of Sport Structures Ltd to the best of their ability.
  • Agree not to disclose any of your personal or contact details to customers using the Sportscoach Finder programme.
  • Agree that all information provided in the application process is truthful. If it is discovered at a later date that incorrect information was supplied in order to gain employment, Sport Structures Ltd reserves the right to terminate an individual’s contract with no notice. 
  • Agree that they will announce any other forms of employment to Sport Structures.
